Bowls Clubs in Braintree District include Bocking Alliance Bowls Club which is a section of Bocking Sports Club. We are a friendly and thriving club. We always welcome new members ladies and men, existing bowlers or beginners and are also pleased to see you if you are just curious and looking to discover the attractions of this exciting and engaging sport, catering for members of all ages.
Outdoor bowls is played from the end of April to the end of September. We play in competitive leagues for men, ladies and mixed. We have mid-week friendlies against other local clubs and also play friendlies most weekends. There are club competitions and time for purely social bowling.
We are a friendly social club and run events throughout the year.
