Eastbourne Bowls Tours 2026 - 40th Tour

We had another great tour, good company, laughs, lovely hotel and food, a few drinks and oh yes some bowling too.
On tour the weather was kind to us except one day so we played 4 out of our five scheduled matches over 5 venues.
Overall we came out as winners 662 shots to 527 shots helped greatly by a big win of +94 on the final day at Parade BC. Full results below:

In the individual mens and ladies competitions, which gets quite competitive, the results over the week were:
Top lady Sue Broome +34
R/U Yvonne Butcher +31
Top man Phil Wood +52
R/U Graham Heard +49
Prizes were awarded on the final night of the tour at the Presentation Evening.
One day we took time out to remember our friend and club member Dave Hales on what would have been his birthday by visiting his favourite ice cream parlour in Eastbourne where his wife June kindly bought everyone ice creams.
Lastly a big thank you goes out to Rodger King (legend organising all 40 tours), June Hales, Paul Tyler and Simon Twin for their hard work organising another successful tour.
